The Argus Mi-TIC Replacement Window is a Germanium window that offers protective housing of the Argus Mi-TIC lens, it protects the lens from damage when accidentally dropped and stops dust and smoke from interfering with the advanced Argus infrared sensor.

The Argus Mi-TIC Replacement Window (ARG_MI_RW) is made of Germanium, Radel plastic and Santprene materials to make it not only shockproof but also tolerant to extreme temperatures, making it as durable and rugged as the Argus Mi-TIC itself.
The window is so easily replaced that it can be done in the field, to remove you simply press the release tab at the bottom of the window and unscrew.
